In the product life cycle, process planning is to determine the importance of product quality and cost aspects, then the link will result in changes to the product cost surge. Product design through the geometric description of the functional requirements needed to provide a standard to follow for downstream manufacturing. Therefore, the process design of the product must be manufactured and assembled process planning, and the optimal technology to meet product designers geometry is specified as the product functional requirements. Among them, the planning process should be defined machined surface, clamping method and corresponding processing program; assembly process planning is required to define the assembly sequence, tools and fixtures. Moreover, in order to determine the optimal assembly sequence, the connection must be analyzed relations between parts, and thus determine the key components of the assembly unit. To test the validity of development tools, this paper analyzes two simple cases, the test results consistent with the theoretical value.
